This is how I dress my tires
For a mustang anyway. The tires protrude about a 1/4” pass the rims. I cut the cardboard a little oversized so I need to press it in. Then I jack it up so I can spin it. Giving me coverage to the edge.

That’s one way to do it. How do you like that Meg’s spray shine?

I like.
I’ll often do the “spinning method”
for the front tires—but I can’t be
fully trusted when it comes to an
aerosol dressing!
Alas:
I’ve yet to perfect a “spinning method”
when it comes to dressing the rear tires.
That is...at least a safe one.

I like it very much. I bought the dr. Beasley’s matte tire conditioner but it’s way too much work. If you got groves in the tires you’ll need to brush it in. Otherwise it looks blotchy. Plus if you get it on the rim it’s hard to get off. The Meg’s wipes right off.

I didn’t get a close of just the tire. I was in a rush to take my honey to dinner.

I jacked it up enough so the back tire was off the ground. This made it easy to cover the whole tire. I’m getting to old to jump in and out to reposition the tires.

I’ve got 8 - 1x6” by maybe a foot cedar boards leftover from a fence that I drive up on. Super easy

That's the way I do mine except I hold the card board.

Wouldn't moving the car be easier than jacking the car up??
