    Product shelf life?

Did some pre spring cleaning and found a bottle of megs 205. I’d say it’s about 5-6 years old.
Still good? Storage was in a basement, no freezing, and climate controlled.

I also have 5 gallons of detail spray, and tire dressing purchased in 2004. I know, crazy. Both seem to still “work”

are there rules of thumb for storage?

Rules of thumb? Cool but not cold, humidity controlled, etc. But nothing is 100% I've had some products that have started growing stuff in them and had to throw out.

Sounds like you’ve already tested-out the
current level of efficacy of the ~15 years old
    detail spray and tire dressing.

    IMO:
Finding out the current level of M205’s
    effectiveness will require some testing-out
    as well. Just a suggestion.
