help, do I need a mini DA really?%%%%
I have 3 DAs. A Groits, a long throw, and a HF. I use a 3"BP on my Groits and it seems to work pretty good. It's the last day to get the Adams mini @ 19% off. I read good reviews on their mini and I'm trying to decide if it's worth it.

I have one and love it. Good power and small enough to get into tight areas with the longer throw. You will not be disappointed.

I have one also and it's great, still if you have your doubts the GG with 3" plate is good enough

The machine itself is smaller and the shroud is a smaller diameter. Reasons I chose this over a gg6 with a 3” plate

I think my next purchase will be one of those extension arms for the backing plate

•No...it’s really not worth it to me to buy
a mini (or any other style/type of polisher)
from Adam’s...no matter the discount:
-AGO is my go-to for Detailing stuff.
•Of course: YMMV.

I agree with you 95% of the time as AG gets 95% of my money. Problem is everything I see and read says Adams SK mini>griots 3” and I live 20 mins from flag ship store and would love to give my money to local company. Also think overall Griots>Adams. But you either get an inferior (still good but not as good) polisher corn 20$ less or spend almost triple for a flex or a Rupes. This time Adams won

If the cars you polish works with GG and the 3" backing plate I don't think you need to be upgrade. I have the Shine Mate EU version of SK mini and is very happy with it. It's on par with Flex and Rupes mini versions. GG 3 seems to be a great option if you want to have a smaller size mini and combo it with a 2" backing plate seems to be a great option. If you have parts you think a GG 3 would reach in to it could be worth to ad to the arsenal.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Adams mini. $121 with free shipping. Seems like a good deal. Most reviewers that have tried the Rupes also say it is on par with it. We'll see.
