Re: Need Your Opinion on an AIO or 1-Step

Friends = AIO. I like Megs D166. MY POINT...most of your friends probably do not take care of their ride like we do and it's only a matter of time they will cause the same swirls. I know from 1st hand experience! I work on my friends car for free and I have fun doing it. JUST THE FACT you are working on their car is really cool to them. KEEP ON ROCKING!

My neighbor from across the street is my #1 guinea pig. That’s why there’s times where what should take 1.5hrs. turns into a much longer ordeal. I get to test, and she gets free benefits. Lol.

Sometimes I’ll see her outside and say “hey you need your car washed”? Inside my head I’m thinking “I’ve got some new stuff I want to try out” lol.

Duragloss 101 is another good AIO I'll add to the list.

The way I use these two products is this: If I am gonna do a ceramic coating afterwards, I use a 1 step if paint is in good shape. If not, AIO is ideal for daily drivers.

I miss my old neighbor, Brad...

I tested a ton of products on his cars. He'd take his motorcycle to work in the spring/summer, and leave two Mustangs in the driveway.

When I got off work I'd have time to start experimenting.

I'm exchange he cut the grass in my yard. I didn't realize then that I'd look back on those times as the "good old days".

2008, 9, 10, 11.. I was dating this girl who would come over, and crochet on the couch in my house while watching Two and A Half Men. I could watch and hear from his driveway!

Life was incredibly simple back then, but today is really great too..

Re: Need Your Opinion on an AIO or 1-Step

So what's a good 1 step? I'll ask here isntead of making a new thread. Got a new (to me) '15 X5, which is in good shape. Just want to correct paint then use my ceramic coating after.

I might have some McGee's Fast polish left which will probably do the trick, but I don't know if it's enough so maybe I'll try a reccomended 1-step from here.

Re: Need Your Opinion on an AIO or 1-Step

Thanks for all the input and good suggestions guys. I think I am leaning to an AIO for the daily drivers to save time and my back.

I second 11B250 question, what would be a good polish for a one step? McKee’s fast polish? Griots perfecting cream? OPT hyper polish?

Re: Need Your Opinion on an AIO or 1-Step

AIO's are great, but come across pretty hard paint and they won't do much. At least not enough to justify buffing a whole car.
