I just finished up wiping my Harley down with Ech2o. I got it last night, and I wanted to use it on my truck, but it’s been raining off and on all day.
So I went into the garage and wiped down my bike with it. It was filthy from the last ride, and had fingerprints all over it from changing out my heated grips for new ones.
I must say, I’m impressed with the way it turned out.
I’ve always sworn by BugSlide when it comes to the bike. It’s been my go to for a few years now, but I think I like the Ech2o better.
It’s a little more labor intensive, but it looks fantastic!

I wish I had it with me when we rode to Milwaukee last April. We hit every season in 7 days. Started off in just a jacket. Second day, lots of sunscreen and a t-shirt.
From there on in, it was rain/sleet/snow/hail & ice.
We slid into Chicago sideways!
When I got home and took my air cleaner cover off, it looked like a salt encrusted Chilean sea bass. LMAO!

FYI for those looking to pick this up locally, pep boys has it at 25% off if ordered online and picked up. Not bad for a total of $15 before taxes. I didn’t order it but just passing it along.

IIRC I went with 2 oz for 4 gallons. The product is so thick that it works out pretty good like this. I make extra so I can pre-treat to a level I feel comfortable and not worry about shorting myself during the cleaning. I've done both the GD method as well as Aqua sponge with great success. Some people might also go higher to be even safer and that's fine too, doesn't hurt but don't go to high of a ratio, the product goes a long way!

Re: Mother’s CMX is here!
Today I washed (with Reset) the panel I used CMX on about 21 days ago. The beading was not great and the dirt rejection properties were pretty much gone. I’ll continue to use CMX as a topper, but as a stand-alone coating it was lacking. CMX is better than many of the toppers on the market, especially at the price point, but IGL Premier and Kamikaze Overcoat are still the only two toppers I have used that stand up 24/7 3+ month torture.
On glass the beading was gone, no idea why.

We are addressing this from the user experience side in our instructions, aimed at minimizing overspray by recommending spraying the product onto a microfiber towel or applicator pad. This has been a complaint I've read on amazon reviews as well. They say it's like a dust, sorts like when wiping off a wax after it's hazed. It's been described as "little white beads" that get stuck in places like rubber window seals.
Is it something that is coming out of the sprayer? Or is it dried product?
