Quick winter detail. PNS, Collinite 845 or HD Speed?
Just got a new 2019 RAM 1500 in Flame Red. It’s actually a nice 45° day here in Pennsylvania so I want to give it a quick once over to protect before I can do a good detail on it in the spring. I have PNS, Collinite 845 and a few other things sitting around, or I could just do a quick polish with HD Speed and top it with 845. Any suggestions for what I’m trying to accomplish?

PNS is great and IMO is the closest water behavior to a coating. I like it because it goes on fast. 845 is okay but not as long lasting as 476 which is what I like in terms of hybrid sealants. I do love HD Speed for everything but longevity to my vote is to use that but to top it with either PNS or 845.

Is it ok to top HD Speed with PNS? I remember reading somewhere that you couldn’t it PNS on top of anything.

I would go with PNS. Cause of temps I think it's the easiest to apply. This will also get you through the winter months. Then do the prep and polishing when spring comes.

Mike Phillips on Autogeek does top with PNS after an AIO. On his personal car and have seen he do it on top of HD Speed too.
Edit: LOL I was just on the Autopia forum and switch over to here. So the answer might seem a little strange LOL.
But yes it's fine to top Speed with PNS.

Great! Thank you! Sorry for not searching, but I am on a tight schedule and want to get this done. Anybody use HD Speed with a megs MF finishing pad?
