I showed an owner and fellow CCCA club member how to care for his two classics. A "Finisher" and "Pixie" were used with white foam pads and 3D Speed.

Finishes are in great shape, just need a buff. The Cadillac's is in this months Hemmings Classic Car magazine pg 52.

Ask and ye shall receive...albeit a little later than planned

Giving it a try on the PPF'd Corvette this weekend and will then drop a coating on top. At 5 years in on a black daily driver (and admittedly a 2nd class citizen in the garage regarding appropriate care) the PPF is a slightly weathered, will see if this cleans it up a bit. Been 3 or so years since I've prepped/coated a car in my garage...might be a little weary come Sunday.

The EN was D A Y S overdue for a wash, standing dirt water spots everywhere, tires & wheels TRASHED...let's goWhat did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I started with TWHS Hyper Foam on the tires & wheels and I just love using this on truely dirty tires/wheels because inparticular the tires turn brown immediately and scrubbing them with the tire brush is VERY satisfying! I used my other 3 brushes for a total clean...it needed it🫣

Next was the pre-wash and I called Griot's Garage Foaming Surface Prep into duty as the EN was soooo trashed! I let it dwell and rinsed down and got ready for the 2BMWhat did you do today, in regards to detailing?

For the 2BM I used the Griot's Garage carwash pod, really like the convience AND performance of this brand new product from them! I moved around the EN and knocked it out and while wet I decided to "top up" the rims w/ CarPro Hydro Lite, also the carbon fiber exhaust tips & insides as wellWhat did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I dried the EN out front in some shade, vac'd out the floors, used some Griot's Garage Monkey Gas interior scent and some TWHS Interior Detailer on the gloss black bits. Later I cleaned the exterior & interior glass w/ CarPro Clarify (have Phobic on deck) and dressed the tires with CarPro Darkside, been a while for this product. I use it sparingly because it truely lasts a long time, so it serves as a good base product, just looks amazing when laid down....thin, lay it down T H I NWhat did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I'm so glad it's clean, it's been OVERDUE, seriouslyWhat did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Decided to give my sweetheart a maintenance wash but I really wanted to test out this P&S Frostbite and see what it can do. I don’t expect it to be on par with Auto Foam or Touch-less but if it’s even comparable it may be a viable alternative for a domestic and much cheaper pre-wash. My car wasn’t overly dirty so I won’t be able to give a true assessment until I get my hands on my favorite customers SUV which I know hasn’t been washed since 2023.

My initial thoughts are that it produces a good foam (used the recommended dilution ratio of 1:10) and it’s a bit runny which I like in a pre-wash. I want it to run down and pull the dirt off with it. In the closeup you can see some of the dirt it pulled off which I don’t see happening when I use a pH neutral soap. I didn’t notice a pleasant scent like on YT videos. I just smelled like soap which is perfectly fine. All-in-all, it seems promising but more testing is definitely necessary.
