What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Finished up the interior detail on a 2020 Palisade. I didn’t take any before pics but the previous owner had 4 kids so use your imagination. Those kids left quite a few scuffs on the plastic but the new owner was thrilled and will now send me all of her friends’ business. Sadly, this interior was the nail in the coffin for the interior side of my venture into professional detailing. I would rather do a two step paint correction by hand than do another mom SUV or van.

Finally upgraded the master blaster reel. Went from the rockler reel to the cox reel.

What a difference.

I purchased a few connections as I was unsure what would work the best. Ended up choosing the one pictured and trimming it a bit.

Used some solar sleeves to hide the connections/hose clamps

100 ft OG hose on cox reel
Master blaster revolution
35' foot pool hose on cox reel.
Expanding hose for watering plants etc.
Bucket filler hose underneath.

PW wall unit shelf built by me from plywood and painted etc

I still need to clean up my 4 way hose connector on the bottom

Have a question for all you folks. Maybe someone had done it and can share tips.

Getting headline redone in my 06 Silverado from tan to black. Going to have the visors done same. Interior trim pieces that attach to and hold headline are tan.

1…do I paint dark pewter like rest of interior or go black to match headline?

2…anyone ever painted interior plastics? If so what did you use?

Any tips?

Finally can find everything. No more Mobile till I can spring for a van. Luckily I haven’t had any resistance to having them drop off there vehicle.
