Booked my first bike detail of the spring...the fellas in MI are bringing out their bikes and some are noticing...not all bikes look the same.

I have my sights on a new bike this year. If HD offers a mid year '23 CVO Street Glide, I'll have a hard time passing that up. I'll have to do a lot of detailing to cover that bill....but....goals!!!

Sweet. I’ve got that same vacuum but normal use.

When using it as extractor, are you using the normal black foam filter they recommend for wet use? Of a different specific filter? Do you make sure the canister is completely free of vacuum debris before using it as extractor? Or is it not that critical? Or is it strictly an extractor full time now?

What’s that gray thing on your left forearm in the pic? What are we looking at there?
Nevermind, it’s the steering wheel… lol

I have the wet filter but I normally run no filter

If I have dirt in there 1st I use the extractor to wet it all down by spraying inside the vacuum with the extractor to get everything wet so it doesn't blow around. Plus I use the muffler on the exhaust port.

I use it as vacuum and extractor both back to back What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Works great. It's hooked to water hose so no rank refills etc.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I gave the FJ a home touchless wash, it hadn't been washed since I played in the mud a week or so back, and I was short on time so loaded up my Kwazar with Carpro Lift. I went around it about 3 times, till my arms got tired. Then rinsed it off with the hose, inside the wheel arches I just hold the hose gun in there till the water runs clean. I dried it off by driving it around the block, but wiped the glass down with my favourite old chamois to remove any remaining water spots. We're supposed to have rain over the next few days, so it didn't need to be a perfect job. The black trim and tyres are still holding on to the mud residue, but Lift cleaned the paint quite well.
