Looks like the temps in PA are finally moderating. Saturday moved all my stuff back into the garage. And the truck got its weekly Maintenace wash.

Yesterday, I applied Invisible Glass Clean & Repel to the windshield and back window. It's supposed to rain later today so I can test it out. Also removed some dried bird poop from the gf's car. Just Speed Shine wasn't working so I used this method:

Hadn't washed the EN for F I V E days...trouble with using the QR code and/or their site! I couldn't wait to get off of work and get after it...let's do this️

I decided to use Ech2o because of DFB's RW thread and damn I love that stuff, the bad thing about trying/liking these new ones is you forget the pillars of the industry Ech2o is great when you want that gloss/sickness and a little protection, it's THEE best on the market for this...IMO. Now don't think it doesn't clean, look at my rinse bucket when I was done

Just when I www finishing up my g/f came home from work so I decided to wash her car, it was legitimately dirty, so time for round #2!

Seeing as my Ech2o wash solution bucket was looking good I decided to to use it but strengthened it up a bit by adding 1.5 oz of Absolute to it and topping off the water to about 4 gallons of solution. This mix worked great and again the rinse bucket didn't lie, cleaned GREAT! Her paint was smooth and BTW she helped me dry the Cruze, want to get her involved here

After we had dinner I snuck out there and added a coat of Adam's VRT to our tires and I've gotta tell you this product impresses me quite a bit, a very natrual sheen that spreads like butter

I detailed the incoming air into my car 2 ways! One by changing out the cabin filter, it was 14 monthes old and sprayed the new one with 3D Jasmine scent

I replaced the cabin filter in the FJ when I bought it 7 years ago, it had done 130k KMs and I had no idea if it had ever been replaced, it was disgusting.

Started clay barring this car. This one needs a lot of work.

There seems to be a lot of contaminates inside the thinner groove on moldings. Very hard to remove and time consuming.

Could have been original, from 2011, I changed it when I got it back in 2016. I had the transmission serviced just after I got it as well, that had never been opened either. Apparently the previous owner wasn't big on maintenance.

Did a maintenance wash on the truck this morning. Kind of pointless. Calling for severe thunderstorms and high winds this afternoon. Guess the calm before the storm. Currently 70 out and lots of sun. And it's being used for a small road trip Sunday. At the very least got some sun and fresh air.

Used Descale today. Like it a lot. Revived CC a bit in spots. Cleaned extremely well.

Followed up with Reset and Ech20. If I could only have two products on hand Reset and Ech20 would be high on my list.

Ech20 makes plastic look great even if it’s temporary.

Took the EN to the touch-free wash but before going in I used the IK Foam Pro 12 filled with Bilt-Hamber Auto-Foam and .5 ounce of Gyeon Restart "just because". After drying it off I headed home and then tried out the brand new 303 Slick Shine Ceramic Detailer. It's about 60 degrees and sunny and I must say it worked VERY in the sunny conditions I also used it on the tires and wheels to "even things out".

I also got some new Bosch ICON wiper blades and a 5 quarter jug of 0w30 Mobil 1 for a future oil change, love Auto Zone gift cards during the holidays
