Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
Started to strip the failing clearcoat on the ZX11 wheels. Was intending to test a small area but ended up doing the entire right side of the rear wheel. It's 107deg here today & I decided the rest of the project will be done when the wheels come off for new tires.
When the hell did Jasco start costing $50 a gallon??? Luckily I only need a quart.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
After doing the exterior of the FJ yesterday, it was time for some interior work today. Tool both rubber mats out, spayed them liberally with 303 Aerospace Protectant, let it soak in while I vacuumed the floor and seats. Then wiped down the floors with 303 AP, them wiped the excess off the mats. Driver's side is due for replacement, I've worn a hole in it.
Last pic shows the driver's door, I put Hybrid Solutions Inside Job Ceramic + Graphene on a couple of weeks ago, seems to be holding up really well, we've had some heavy rain, the interior plastic has got wet a few times, but absolutely no streaking. It's not as easy to apply evenly as 303 AP, but it definitely seems to last.
And yes, that is a wear mark on silver part of the driver's door, apparently a hairy freckled forearm is an abrasive.

Got to finally use a combo I've always dreamed of:
Wolfgang Deepgloss Paint Sealant and Wolfgang Fuzion paste wax.

It was time to replace my last minivan with a new one. Need it for hauling stuff between AZ & MN. Plus it works great for hauling friends to the car auctions!
Xpel full hood and fender PPF & tint done. Gyeon CanCoat + Cure. First time using. Primer was kind of a pain, used Prep then applied, which is a breeze.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
Weekly wash with Reset followed by Ech2o (1:20).

What does your Reset + Ech2o process look like?
Trying to figure if I want to keep Ech2o around or not

I’m guessing bucket wash w/Reset and Ech20 as you dry.

Wash with Reset then use Ech2o as drying aid/QD after. 1:20.

I like other products better as a QD but Ech20 is definitely more economical. Still I use other products. Makes for an inexpensive drying aid when I don’t feel like using hydrate.
Works really well as a Rinseless that leaves a little gloss. Probably Rinseless and pretreat for Frothe/rinseless are my favorite uses.
