What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Did a simple rinse off in the spray booth car wash yesterday and the drove home and did a waterless wash with 3D Waterless Wash. Not perfect, but much better than what it was.

Although I didn't really test it's cleaning abilities too much, it left a nice, slick finish.

Just turned 5,000 miles yesterday!

Applied a second coat of High Gloss, with an immediate wipe-off, due to some streaking and speckle issues with the initial application.
Perhaps user error.

Shelby has a base coating of TACsystem Moonlight. And thinking about it, I’ve seen similar spots and streaks after partially drying the car with a blower. 🧐

This stuff will go bad, sitting in the bottle. But I’ve only had it a few months.


The mixed blessing of white paint:

Looks clean and shiny, but is it really the best it can be?

Just making sure....that's NOT the Heritage Edition, right? Even if it's not, that's my 2nd favorite color combo for the GT350

I've seen companies in the past that made wheel shields for put tire dressing on the tires. I'm looking for something like that to clean my tires and keep my wheels dry/clean. Anyone still make them?

Last I checked a few months ago, I couldn’t find anyone that still sold them. Not sure if that was temporary or permanent.

Thorough wash and applied PA High Gloss on the exterior.




I had just finished drying the car when a swarm of bees flew overhead. I looked up to see where they were headed and when I came back to the car, it was covered in bee pollen poo.

So, I washed it again. Such is life.

How'd you that combo

There were some minor spots that still looked a little brown on the mats. More noticeable out in the sun before the light started to fade. There's already fresh dirt on the mats so you wouldn't be able to tell right now. No slipperiness from the protectant.

Yeah I've noticed that but usually the protectant covers it up
