Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
I had some work to do in the engine bay of the FJ today, cruising in traffic yesterday when suddenly the engine quit, and then there was a strong smell of fuel. Luckily I had enough momentum to pull to the side. When I checked under the hood, I found that the plastic elbow clip that connects the fuel line to the fuel filter had popped off, spraying fuel in the engine bay and on the firewall, including an insulation panel, resulting in random petrol smells entering the cabin since then, even though it's not leaking anymore. The clip seems to secure back on properly, but I've added a cable tie around as a precaution. So I've spayed some citrus degreaser all over the contaminated areas. Also gave it an ONR wash, in case there was any over spray rinsing off the degreaser. Hoping the citrus smell covers any lingering fuel odours.

Get some PA products and Kami OverCoat. It will ruin you for other toppers….
IgL premier is another great performer. Short shelf life has kept me from ordering.
Still have Nova Jet, Lustre and Boost to play with myself as well as some DreamMaker.
Not expecting much beading from the last one.

I have the Husky Xact contours l. Got them because they have better coverage than the WT and are more rubber like than plastic like than the WT.
Coveage of the tuxmat looks good but what is texture like.
Thinking TuxMat or 3D maxpider for my next set.

CarPro states Reset may harm waxes or sealants. Maybe try some less aggressive like HyperWash or Optimum Car Wash?

Couple years ago while at SeMa we went down to Dream Racing to rent Cars (I got a Huracan) to track at Las Vegas Motor SpeedWay on their road course.
Before getting on the track one of their drivers took us around the track to give us a lay of it in one of these.
The performance of that thing rivals most high end sports cars. It was amazing.

Thanks, I may go with Can Coat next but the PA stuff is something I've been looking at too. It's possible Reset did impact it. The car was much harder to dry now that the beading is flatter. I had to use my drying towel.

Soft textured rubber, they don’t get hard and wipe out easily, like I need to do in this pic apparently. The ends won’t curl like every WeatherTech I’ve owned.
