Engines cleaned and "detailed" (detailing product na on AG) the Crosstrek yesterday and the CX-5's a month ago.

I think the pollen has calmed down enough that doing the engine bay again makes sense. I did it after the winter but it got dirty again pretty quick.

I did a RW with Griot's and a presoak using the 6:1 dilution mentioned in another thread/Griot's live stream. Just refilled the spray bottle with the leftover RW from the bucket and added a little more undiluted RW to it. Had to do 1 or 2 panels at a time and then dry due to the heat. Tried DG 253 on the tires with 4 sprays on the applicator per tire (vs 2 last time).

First chance to wash these new wheels. That said, there was not much to wash. The ceramic coating has really stopped brake dust from adhering to the wheels. I think I could have just rinsed them off and been done with it, but well you know the story by now.......









I can't begin to tell you how much joy there was cleaning these wheels with such ease today, just so easy to get everything with brushes and wash mitt. I do still need a bristled brush to get behind the caliper though.







And I can now get the calipers properly clean.





With the coating on the wheels, they are dried with ease using the blower. I still followed up with some quick detailer though. Again, the luxury of clearance aided by the reduction in spokes.



Finishing touch being tire dressing.

Ech20 rinseless on both today. Windows with Clarify. Interior with Adams Interior QD.

Cleaned Camaro tires with rinseless (coated). Applied a mix of Perl/Tac Systems tire coat to the Rav4

Washed my wife’s new Acadia with Chem Guys Watermelon Snowfoam after a quick chemical iron decon. Dried with a Griots PFM.

Went right to Finishkare 1000P. Paint was smooth.

Too hot to dress the tires and back it out for good after shots. So tomorrow morning I may bust out the Duragloss 253 to make the rubber more black.

89° and pretty humid. I had to meet someone and had just enough time to shower. And I needed it, my shirt was soaked! So post shower and meeting, it was too hot to dress the tires. Lol.

Wife’s Lincoln, Adam’s UV Leather and Vinyl coating on the driver’s seat after cleaning with diluted OPC.

Decided to clean up the exhaust, just the bits visible without getting underneath. Forgot to take a pic of the tip before I started, but it wasn't as bad the section visible through the rear wheel well. Used WD40 and a medium sanding pad.
