Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
I just remembered something else I did, as a test, while polishing. A while back I bought one of those contact less thermometer, they're infra red I think, just point and shoot. So I tested the paint temp while polishing, the car had been driven a few hours before, the ambient was 18c, the paint was 23 - 24c before I started, and the max I saw was 32.5c right where I was working. I was curious to see what heat was being generated.

Just a wash with foam cannon and Mr Pink soap. Put on a layer of TW hybrid ceramic spray, impressed by the easy on and off. Next wash will be the same but top with Collinite 845 for the winter.

Have you tried #476S from Collinite?

The first day I absolutely doused it with Meguiars glaze #7.
Second day I used a throw away pad and rubbed in some more #7 removing the high/ dry glaze and left a lighter, more uniformed coat of glaze.
Today did the same thing. Each morning the dry spots that are soaking in all the glaze are getting smaller.
I will probably do that 2 more times or until the paint stays reasonably uniform/ moisturized when I inspect it the following day.
After that im not 100% sure what route im going to go as far as light polish and sealing.
Im learning towards 3m perfect it 1 polish and sealing with Meguiars paint sealant 2.0.
Im all ears for recommendations also but would prefer something off the shelf to seal it with.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
Not just today but last week. Made a handful of adjustments to the garage and plans for this winter.
I was really looking for a higher end Hot Water extractor like the Mytee sold here to back up and support AG but the good / bad news is that they are sold out everywhere. I called them directly in California and even their warehouse is pretty much empty with an 8-10 week lead time. Not good. So instead I found Sandia Brand Extractors who also private label their commercial units to hundreds of their distributor partners.
Turns out we have a big one here in Columbus that not only private lables them but services them and carries parts, accessories, etc too. They made me an awesome deal $600 of retail price for a 6 gallon commercial unit that blows the Mytee line up away. It's the largest of the 115v models, Pump: 100 PSI, Water Lift of 117" and a 1200 Watt inline heater for up to 6 gals of 200*F water.
I also purchased a nice 2 gal. garden style sprayer from Grainger Supply. It also is commercial grade with a Schrader valve built in so that I can simply add air without pumping. I figure that will be a nice way to pre-treat the interiors and what not and may even be super nice for rinseless washing this winter.
I then moved my Worx Hyrdoshot down stairs to the laundry area / tub area as I mainly use it as a nice 320psi system for cleaning my pads. I used to use it for rinseless washes in the winter but again, I may not need it now and it serves me best by using the power to safely clean pads.
Things are coming together for what I hope is a nice season of interior details vs just exterior. I do this mainly on the weekends, and since May I've completed nearly 35 jobs already. It's been a busy season for sure.
