2016 Mustang 5.0 Manual 6 Speed
After a new customer who believed that chemical guys was the best of the best still wasn’t convinced that there were better products out there I rinsed down the vehicle to demonstrate the beading effects of my LSP vs his. He was convinced none the less. Unfortunately didn’t have time to grab pictures of that but I then sprayed the paint with N-914 and proceeded to WW the paint. After that it received another coat of spray wax. Owner offered for me to drive the vehicle and ended up taking it for a spin after the wipe-down. Fun vehicle to drive and cool owner as well. Attachment 66005Attachment 66006

Aw man people think I’m crazy when I say that a waterless wash/rinseless wash can be performed on their vehicle. But I think they look at me even more crazy when I tell them that armor all is not the best product for their interior as I wipe my finger across their dash and it comes out oily and sometimes even black.

Literally yelled out “yes!” when I saw this in the AutoGeek store under “What’s new.”

Thought the same thing. Although as of now they don't look like they will be carrying much and only single towels too. No bundles.

Detailed in my first "bomb cyclone" here in Metro Detroit.
Couldn't figure out why my associate never closed the garage door!
Chilled to the bone...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
Yesterday I was finally able to do a decent cleaning of my garage floor. Finally no snow and it got above freezing.
Just to see how bad it was getting here is a picture of when I did a RW of my car and since then it just got worse.
And one when done
Depending on weather I plan on polishing off my current coating and redo it with something different (It has Syncro on it now)

My neighbor stopped by to ask me a few questions this past weekend while I was outside detailing my brothers Ford F-150... He owns a Corvette that he’s had since new and it’s a nice car but he was wondering why his paint wasn’t looking as good as it should. He told me he had recently tried polishing it with compound then polish but as we could see it just wasn’t looking very good. I gave him a few tips and I was really interested in what compound and polish he had used, my 1st guess was maybe some 3M stuff as that somehow seems to be what regular people wind up going with when they take a stab at some “real” polishing on their own cars.
He came back a few minutes later to show me a bottle of Chemical Guys V32. I was like “yea this isn’t exactly known to be real good stuff compared to compounds that are good these days” lol.

He probably made the finish look worse than what it was and now it’s going to be even more difficult to correct. Corvette clear is hard.
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.
