No doubt, as soon as I can get to it I'll report. I'll need a garage and some time so it might not be for another few days

It works well. One of the key things I learned was to lessen the amount of paint put down for each chip. If you put a full drop by each chip, then you just end up spending more time with the SealAct removing that excess paint.

    Wow, that looks amazing!

So here's the question I have...

Doesn't the SealAct also somewhat take away the paint in the chip? Or is it because the chip is recessed that only the "high spots" get removed? Is the paint difficult to remove?

I'm guessing the the less I have spread around the chipped area, the easier it'll be to work with (i.e. less to remove)...as I realized you had mentioned LOL

It may take some away but shouldn't pull it all out. It will shrink when it dries so it won't end up flush with the paint around it anyway. I try to go around the chip with the blending cloth as much as I can vs always going right over it. With a larger chip, you could pull more of the paint out of it. One tip they gave for larger chips in the last livestream they did with Autogeek was to wrap the blending cloth around something flat, like one of their squeegees so you're not pressing into the chip.

I did find I had to use more pressure when I put more paint on the car with the dab and smear technique. Now that I use less paint for each chip, it's easier to get the excess off. Now I use the small squeegee, put the paint bottle up against the edge of it and put a partial drop on it.

    Hey guys,

Getting ready to continue my paint correction on the 90 mustang convertible.

Looking for thoughts on how to polish some tight areas. Mainly the recessed area on the moldings and the trunk where the luggage rack is.

Can I get decent results doing some areas by hand?

I will be using smaller 3 1/2" pads

I am sure you are not afraid of a little elbow grease so I say go for it!

Indeed. I was wondering if the smaller pad could be effective and get the recessed area in the moldings. They are pretty neglected in there.
