Scrubbed down, blown out with leaf blower and sprayed down with 303/distilled water at 1:3



My mix was blown around the engine bay for best coverage, allowed to dwell a bit and then blown off once more and a final microfiber wipe down

Then I did a maintenance wash with a TW WW finish

I cleaned the exterior windows too

I noticed they need a deep cleaning soon

I didn’t take any exterior pics

Windy and cool afternoon, but got another wash/detail in. That truck took a beating on the way home Thursday night during that ice storm. When i was flushing the undercarriage, i still found ice buildup in skid plates etc.. Still frozen. Truck did not skip a beat that night. Can't wait till the warmer weather to finally set the garage back up!! Have to say, the TW SLICK & SLIDE soap is impressive.

This is becoming a weekly thing and I LOVE IT...another clean up on the ES

Today's pre-wash consisted of 1.5 gallons of distilled water mixed with 5 oz of Koch Chemie Gsf and 2 oz of IGL Blizzark. First I cleaned the tires and wheels with Auto-Fanatic foaming wheel cleaner and used the Speed Master for the barrels and Mother's wheel brush for the face/spokes.

I then emptied the entire contents mixed in the IK Foam Pro 12 on the ES, also underneath, tires/wheels/wells and the grill and nooks real good. I then rinsed it down in the bay and drove home to do a RW.

For the RW I reached for Turtle Wax RW (old stuff) I added 7 oz to 3.5 gallons of warm water and my Aqua sponge and got after it. I usually pre-treat but since I pre-washed the ES I didn't feel it was needed. This stuff smells great, cleans VERY well and leaves a nice gloss...why was it discontinued again I also used it to clean out the jams, tires/wheels and gave the engine bay a nice wipe down too.

I finished by adding some 303 Tire Balm to the Blizzaks, pulled the d/s WeatherTech out and used the leftover TW RW to clean the WeatherTech floorliner real good and wiped down the other ones. Next was some CarPro Clarify on the inside AND outside glass. Lastly I grabbed the Griot's Garage spray Trim and Detail spray for the grill. This product makes treating those intricate areas a breeze and Lexus owners should probably grab a couple bottles

I know there's salt dust on the road but it's still looking better than crusty salt all over the place AND the temps are trending up, gotta watch for potholes and "thawing lanes"

I've seen companies in the past that made wheel shields for put tire dressing on the tires. I'm looking for something like that to clean my tires and keep my wheels dry/clean. Anyone still make them?

I'm going to try Griot's foam tire cleaner because I can just wipe it off instead of rinsing it. Car is currently inside because of winter storage.

I didn't realize they were this brown!

I had just finished drying the car when a swarm of bees flew overhead. I looked up to see where they were headed and when I came back to the car, it was covered in bee pollen poo.

So, I washed it again. Such is life.

RW with Griot's BF RW. Also took out the WeatherTech's and used the WeatherTech cleaner with a Tuf Shine tire brush. Then the WeatherTech protectant.

Did a simple rinse off in the spray booth car wash yesterday and the drove home and did a waterless wash with 3D Waterless Wash. Not perfect, but much better than what it was.
