I wish I could foam up my Jeep like that right about now. It’s BAD. How does super soap compare to 3D pink?

Honestly, id say maybe a touch thicker foam. Its good in a bucket wash too.
Keep in mind that i only used .5 oz to 1 oz tops of product in the 35 oz foam canon bottle. And you only need .5 oz of product per 5 gallons in a bucket wash.
Yes it costs a little more than 3D pink, but its more cost effective for me personally for as much as i use regularly

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
18 days since the last wash on the ES, today is THEE day! In a couple hrs when it nears 30 degrees I'm grabbing my IK Foam 9 that's loaded with distilled water and Bilt-Hamber Touchless and the remaining amount of TWHS Hyper Foam Tire and Wheel cleaner and heading to the quarter wash. This will be yet another test for Bilt-Hamber Touchless but this time I've got an actual power washer to rinse everything away properly
Pics coming later, can't wait to do this as I'll feel much better

Looks great Ric! After it dried did you do a light polish to knock down the "orange peel" from the spray or did it finish out pretty smooth
I did the headlights on ex's Mazda 6 years ago and when you got close up to it it wasn't perfect BUT you sure as hell could see at night AND it looked 1000% better and I do mean 1000%! This was the Griot's Garage headlight kit before they upgraded to the 2 kits they have now. At the 2 year point it was holding up VERY well

TBO I didn’t even think about orangepeel. When you spray this your main concern is runs, and when I got done there was maybe 1 little place where I could see slight teeny bit of the beginnings of a run but unless you were to fully inspect it you would never look at it and notice it.
As far as orangepeel, I think it’d be a bad idea to attempt to polish orangepeel out after spraying this on. Luckily the thought of any orangepeel never even crossed my mind, meaning there was no obvious sight of it at least as far as I was concerned.
Like you experienced in your case, I’m just happy it looks 100% better than it did before. I’m going to make a note of the date and try to remember to re spray the coating on again in 6 months. The label claims 1yr. protection but IME that’s extremely optimistic and will have begun degrading at the 1yr. mark.
It will last 6 months looking good. My plan is to maintain and re apply before it begins de grading.

Hand washed the damn salt off the daily and gave it a quick polish with BlackFire AIO.
