Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
So I just found out that the BRS is "dry as hell", i had no idea it came liked that but this funny thing happens when you dunk it into a 5 gallon bucket filled with say 3.5 gallons of water and 2 or 3 ounces of rinseless wash solution. So that bucket isn't lonely you take a 2nd 5 gallon bucket, fill IT with say 3.5 gallons of water so you can dunk the BRS into IT so you can release the dirt. Furthermore they have these circular screens that you put into the bottom of each bucket that helps keep the dirt at the bottom.
NO FEAR

I believe it's best to use MF Towels. I have rinseless washed both my previous pure black Audi, our minivan which was black and now even our two current DD'ers and have had near zero marring marks from them. My car was flawless in that respect, outside some marks from the kids bookbags on it.

I’m talking about 1st impression...
Considering it feels rougher than the so called “car wash sponge” from Dollar Tree I’d be surprised if anyone here would think of using the BRS or the Lake Country equivalent if they didn’t have their respected labels on them.

I could see that. Even cheap chenille mitts feel like clouds.
Maybe I’m just used to it at this point, but I don’t store my BRS in ONR (I did after yesterday’s wash, just to save time in a few days when I wash again) often but even when it’s dry I think it feels about as soft as any low nap towel.
It really is pretty impressive how soft it gets once you’ve got it in the ONR, though.
It’s different, for sure.

Had a solid week booking three details, two of which are for Mother's Day gifts. Two new folks and one returning customer.

Finicks review was good enough to convince me... But I’m currently debating on whether or not to buy a special emblem for my car for $40 bucks, so something like a $25 sponge will have to wait.

I've only used the BRS for rinseless washing and have never had an issue with it. Works really well and I'm not left with a bunch of towels to wash afterwards. It's almost 2 years old and still looks brand new.
