    Micro Marring Help

Noob here.....I am trying to perfect my paint on a 16 Mustang but can’t get rid of the micro marring. I have the entry level Griots da buffer with 5.5 pads. To this point I have used orange pad with CG V36 and then CG v38 with white pad. Is it the product I am using??

I have had good results with HD speed and that same machine and orange pad. Make sure your paint and pad are completely clean or you will see this as well.

Post your results and good luck.

What are the brand of the pads and what line?
You would think that the pad colors are universal but no sadly. The CG polishes I have no experience with. They are not liked by many of what I have heard.

A common thing in the beginning is that you overwork the product with to many passes per sections when polishing. Try to be in the range of 4-6 passes. And as soon as you feel like the polish starts drying. Stop and wipe it off and inspect the results. And have an armspeed of 1" per second. The speed setting on the polisher 4-5. And as noted above work as clean as possible.
