    Question on Paint Sealant

I was wondering if I'm doing things the right way. I have been using McKee's 360 on my cars and truck, then I topped with there High Def Sealant. I like he way it looks and how slick It feels. After reading some more of the forums, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to clean off the paint before putting on the sealant or what to use.

    Re: Question on Paint Sealant

Hard to say. Hopefully Nick or somebody else from McKee's will chime in.

One of the forum regulars did a test where he put sealants over an AIO to see how they performed. (Topping AIO’s with Sealant - Basic test) His conclusion (P7) is that sealants won't adhere properly to a an AIO. Given that, I'd use a something to remove polishing oils or whatever else is left behind that may be impacting the sealant adhering to the AIO. I have to wonder if waiting a couple of days or washing a few times would also be adequate.

Unless of course Nick says you're fine, then ignore what I wrote.

I was wondering the same, but for Pinnacle Jewelung Wax + Liquid Souveran. I want the extra longevity from LS for winter. I will likely do as Rippy suggested, wait for a few washes before topping.

    Re: Question on Paint Sealant

During the application process of McKee’s
    37 360, the product doesn’t actually leave
any “haze”, or other polishing remnants be-
hind—all that stuff disappears as 360 dries—
no buffing of the product is required.

•With that being the case then, IMO:
-If you’re going to top 360 with one of their
paint Sealants, no “panel wipe” is necessary.
