More Than Just a Scrape
Hi Guys. I need your advice on something. A friend of mine sent me these pictures today of a scrape that happened to his car in a parking lot at the beach. There are two parallel scratches on the plastic bumper just below the fender. The one scratch looks pretty deep down to the plastic. I suggested Dr. Colorchip paint in the gouge and then try to even it out with the blending solution. It may look decent enough from a distance. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Damn, that sucks.
If it were me, straight to the body shop for a new bumper/paint. You cant fix plastic once it's been gouged.
As far as ideas, I'll leave it to the guys that know body work on here. I certainly don't. Sorry, UD.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Yeah Dr Colorchip will make it look better, but it works best for chips. If he is not too OCD like the folks here Dr Colorchip will do, if not it’s off to the body shop for a repaint.
