    Alternator for SUV

I have a kia Sorento ex suv with led light pods on bull bar.

I want to upgrade factory alternator to more powerful versions. I google alternator online but I not sure it will fit in my suv.

Do guys know what type of alternator should I buy?

Seems like there's a better section for this than Detailing 101, but isn't the whole point of LEDs that you don't need to upgrade your charging system? I mean those things only draw like 5-10 watts per LED. Your charging system should easily be able to handle a few pods unless you have like 15 of them.

Brand doesn't matter. LED bulbs are mostly the same. So, you're probably talking about 100W MAX. That's like the world's smallest car amp. You'll be fine with the stock charging system. General rule of thumb, if you're installing something on your vehicle with small gauge wire, like 18 or 16 gauge, unless you're installing 20 of them, your charging system should be easily able to handle it.
