    Will this combo work?

    Hello!

i have a 2017 Mazda CX-5 Pearl White. My paint is In good condition, but I have some rail dust on it that needs to be removed. I read reviews and decided to go with with Mother’s 2.0 claybar. It looks like it works well. I will be using it with their instant detailer liberally applied.

Will this claybar mar the heck out of my white paint? If so, will something like Duragloss 105 TPP Polish our fine marring?

if not, what do I use after clay barring? I just hope that it removes the rail dust

last, how do you clay bar inside a company badge that has a rail dust spec in it?

    thanks much!

Use an iron remover like carpro ironx or Gyeon Iron or McKees 37 Xtreme Iron remover. Follow the instructions and you get to rinse the rail dust off instead. If it's very much of rail dust test after the first application to a heavy rail dust spot to apply a second time and see if it's still bleeds. Then after the second application and it's still bleeds I would reach for the clay. It's release the iron particals easier when doing an ironx application before you clay. I wash the car as useally and dry it before apply the iron remover. It's more effective on dry paint and will dilute on wet paint.

Have no experience with mothers clay.
