Sonax Net Shield & Brilliant Shine Detailer Solvents

I have questions regarding the use of Sonax PNS with Sonax BSD. There’s a definite lack of information from Sonax, and what I’ve been able to find on the ‘Net.

    1. Do both products use the same base solvent? For example, is BSD water-based?

    2. After PNS has been applied, and cured for 24 hours, will the solvent of either product remove a cured coat of PNS?

Just to be clear, my question is essentially about layering. If the primary coat of PSN, when fully cured, is *not* removed by the solvent in a second coat, then layering is possible. (Even if not necessary.)

Anyway, that’s why I’m interested in the robustness/resistance of a cured coat of PNS, and how it interacts with whatever solvent is used in either product.

Thanks for any information you may have about this!

    IMHO with both products:

i don't think either is water based since it makes my microfiber loose it's absorbency.

BSD is an awesome drying aid after every wash to add some gloss and layering protection too Sonax Net Shield & Brilliant Shine Detailer Solvents

So, “layered protection.” ...it’s probably me, but without understanding the chemistry of what your working with, how can one know? The only info on these products is the waxing of poetics by their marketing about the beautiful results that they achieve. The only way you have a chance to make an informed decision on which to choose, and possibly mix, is to read antidotal experiences of consumers.

Sonax Net Shield & Brilliant Shine Detailer Solvents

IMO i believe most, i know i do, probably bought a certain car care product due to reading others achieving "beautiful" result ^^

there are too many "trade secret" ingredients from the manufacturer that are unknown to consumer without putting them in real world test.

And i know i can achieve this "Beautiful" result by following the manufacturer's instruction ✌️

    Peace
