It's really simple, don't over complicate things.

    Makita PO5000C
Rupes 15 mark 2( can buy a 21mm essentric for it)
GG6 with Griot HD 3in plate

Those are 3 smooth machines for the best bang for your buck..
I mean you can save more $ if you get a Griot boss..but you gain some extra.l vibration(atleast the G21 does).the cure would be a 90$ Rupes Essentric to replace the factory Griot one...which I think would put you past the mark 2 price point.
Checked the Rupes website and can't find the 21mm essentric kit.

    Can you post a link?

May be the spelling, Google Rupes 'eccentric' and you'll likely get some hits:

Will this eccentric work on a Griots G21?

About 3 months ago, i was in the same position. Now i have a flex 3401, flex light rotary and the flex mini. I love those machines and love their look and dont regret buying them. I recently also bought a cordless milwaukee rotary and prefer the flex rotary.

Cant go wrong when u need that extra power/correction and pressure doesnt stop the pad from rotating on the 3401.

    Re: Polishers

Yes you can put a 15 mm in it.they all interchange no matter if Griot, Rupes, cut Force, Adams Sk...only exception possibly being the Xfe7-15.. nitnifnthet use a 3 bolt eccentric, then it's safe to say it'll interchange too

    I just recommend if you're going 15mm swap on 5in plate..if going 21mm swap on 6in plate

If 12mm swap on duetto plate
