It will help if the product separated. Squeeze the bottom of the bottle and if you can feel that the product is pretty solid, then more then likely the liquid of the polish separated from the abrasives. If this is the case and you’re able to mix up the solution again, it should be good to go. A place I used to work at used the 3M compounds and polishes and they would do this all the time.

Guys I had this happen too and remediated by shaking for a solid 30 seconds with bottle upside down. It Was no longer watery and worked just fine. Just gotta get the solids that settled to the bottom back up....
