I’ve never even laid eyes on 1. I was just wondering what made it so bad.

I like the looks of the Chemical Brothers Torq 10FX as in the ergonomics of it. The quality I have no experience with thou.
Chemical Guys TORQ 10FX Random Orbital Polisher
As the others says they have some good and some not so good products as many other brands also have. I would recommend you to read in the forum and find a pattern of what people recommend to others. The list is a good one of the different products needed to detailing. And take some time and look at the many videos Mike Phillips has done and all the write ups that has a ton of information in them.

I was a fan boy of CG, and I still use some of their products, but Meguires is MUCH better than CG IMO and I am not a Meguires fan!

Im not trying to sound snobby but every time Ive tried to contact CG they took a month to respond. Meguiars they respond quick. I even got a bad bottle of a product and meguiars replaced it free in one day.

Anecdotal. I ordered CG bottles one time and I didn't care for them. I called them to complain that one split along the side. The offered to refund me for all six on the spot. I declined and asked them to just send me the new bottle. And once a gallon of Fabric Guard leaked in the box. Probably leaked about 1/4. I took a picture and called them. They didn't even ask me for the picture, they sent me another gallon despite me telling them that 1/2 gallon would be more than sufficient to cover the leakage. That's my only two customer service issues with them. Also anecdotal but far different from what you're reporting.
I honestly think that disliking CG and their products is part of the culture of this forum.

The GG6 polisher has a lifetime warranty, you can't beat Griot's customer service. I bought a used GG6 from a online auction site (E***) and had troubles with it. I sent it in to them and explained that I bought it used and needed it repaired. They sent me back a brand new machine at no charge. They now have a customer for life! The Boss polishes and correcting cream and Boss pads are excellent to work with.

Wow, that is great customer service. That's Callaway Golf back about 10 years ago level of customer service.
