LC flat pads, did I order wrong??

So the LC flats are my work horse pads, I wanted to get a few more with the 25% off sale but when they come in they were different.

Did they change the design or did I get the wrong ones??

They have been redesigned. Not sure if that is what you received.

It's what I ordered but they don't look like that at all

See that dark line in the center of the side of the pad, it looks like two half's have been glued together. And the Velcro is end to end with no pad overlap

I received some thin pros that the backing looked like yours. Have not used yet, but I just assumed the backing was supposed to be cut better but they made it out of the factory that way.

Yeah I'm confused, the white backing look like the original ones I've always had in the past. So not sure what's going on.

I was just looking at the new pads since they were in the store header..."Simple Six" colors...except the positions of the white and green pads are reversed between the CCS and the flat pads...not that the white/green hasn't always been confusing. LC doesn't have any info on the new "Smart Pads" on their website, either.

The one you have on the left in your first pic looks like a B&S pad.

The one on the right looks like the now old version of the LC Flat Pads that I have some of.

Are you sure the one on the left is a LC pad?

Honestly it's seems like it's a fault in the manufacturing. It looks as it started to trimmed from the face up to the middle and then stopped. Is the velcro the same diameter or is it bigger on the new ones? As I have reading they where gonna be thinner than the old ones. The velcro on the new ones does not seem to be safe to use to polish with. I would send a messege to the support on AGO and maybe to LC also and ask if those are as they should be.
