I have the same hose kit and vacuum. It took me a bit to figure out how to make the wide / fan attachment fit. Everything but the wide / fan attachment fit perfect to the hose end, use the soft flexible rubber adapter which is wide on one end and narrower on the other on that fan attachment, then connect both to the hose end. It allows the wide / fan attachment to swivel too.

If you try an put the fan attachment directly on the end of the hose it keeps working its way off, which is a real PIA.

The original attachement may not work with your new hose, but the kit comes with the brushes you need anyways. You should have a crevice tool, 2 brushes (one stiff for carpet and 1 soft for fabric and pannels). The might be other ones in the kit as well I do not remember since I only use those 3. What attachment did you want to use that is not available with the auto detailing kit?
