Can I sit on car leather right after applying conditioner or protectant?

Or would letting it sit for a couple of hours be better for the leather?

    Thanks in advance

EDIT: just came to a warm underground mall parking lot to clean and condition the leather.... Can I sit on car leather right after applying conditioner or protectant? I was just wondering if driving home right away would somehow undo the application of conditioner/protectant

For normal conditioners. You may get a little bit on your clothes if it hasn't had time to soak in and dry. If you gave it good buff with a MF towel afterwards it should be okay. If its the carpro, gyeon , etc leather coatings then waiting longer would be a good idea

Thanks. It's not a coating. Just a regular protectant. I already let it dry for about 10-20 minutes

Now would be a good time to
do a very light buff with a clean,
    dry microfiber towel, IMO.
