    Tarminator vs Bug Squash ?

Anyone have an opinon on what works better? I have used Tarminator but you can dilute Poorboys Bug Squash so it is appealing that you get more.

I have both and use both. I use Tarminator for Tar and Bug Squash for bugs. I tend to feel I need to reapply some kind of LSP after using Tarminator.

Both say they work on bugs and tar.. but has anyone had experience with how well Bug Squash actually works with tar removal ? Or should I just use rhis for bugs and get something like TRIX for iron and tar ?

I don’t always have tar, but when I do, I prefer Poorboys Bug Squash.Tarminator vs Bug Squash ?

I have a bottle of McKee’s Road Kill Bug Remover and works outstanding, but IMO its way overpriced and tends to go rather quickly. But if bugs outweigh the money factor...

    [I’ve never tried TRIX]

Re: Tarminator vs Bug Squash ?

I’m curious how Bug squash does on old, dried tar? Like the dried, hard tar that everyone else’s car seems to have along the rocker panels and lining the wheel wells.

I’ve only ever seen decent results against tar with strong solvents, Tarminator, or strong Citrus degreasers.

I haven’t ever purchased bug squash but would like to try it out sometime.

I have both. I use Bug Squash for bugs and Tarminator for tar. They work well enough. So, it's never been much of an issue for me.

I do however plan on trying Citrol at some point. Some Youtube guys think it outperforms both of the above products. We'll see. At $60 a gallon I'm waiting to see if a deal comes up sometime. CamelCamelCamel.

    Agree.

Tarminator is a great product, but it is far more hash than Bug Squash. I learned the hard way when I used Tarminator and my McKee's Bug Scrubber to get off some really stubborn bugs. The Tarminator dissolved the scrubber!

When I still used sealants, I'd always hit the areas where Tarminator was used with a spray wax to help restore any protection which had dissolved away.

nice, I think I will start with the Bug Squash and go from there. I know i will need help with bugs so hopefully it will help.

Do you think that TRIX will take care of the tar any more than Bug Squash? I am looking into iron-x but i want something that will help with tar, TRIX seems to have mixed reviews but it would save me buying iron-x and terminator ! What do you think

Re: Tarminator vs Bug Squash ?

I didn't like TRIX. I thought it was too expensive to use as a tar remover, and I didn't like spraying a tar remover over my entire car (when using as an iron remover).
