Need recommendations for a detail spray (QD) that has UV protection

I've been using Gloss-It's detail spray for years and it supposedly has UV protection in it, but I've now decided to try other products on the market. I'm having difficulty locating any QDs that specifically state that they provide UV protection. I'm not looking for a spray wax as I don't want something that might need some buffing or require a totally clean car for application. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Just a thought, you might want to look at some of the waterless washes with a wax components in them. I would assume that they would offer UV protection.

They generally are much more economical than buying bottles of detail spray, and IMO are a much better and safer option for light cleaning.

That's not a bad idea. I've been using Wolfgang Uber Waterless but I don't think it offers any sort of protection.

What are you using for your LSP? Ceramic coating? Sealant? Wax?

If your car is coated, ECH2O at the detail spray ratio mixed with a few ounces of Reload is a really nice combo and would meet your needs. If your vehicle has a sealant, Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz would be a good choice. It does not specifically say it has UV protection, but it is formulated with the same polymers as Wolfgang's paint sealant which is one of the best. WG Detail Spritz would provide you with some additional protection...

Thanks for all of the input. I almost did go with 303, but Bjackson really got me thinking since Uber WW is already a mainstay of my routine. I read some positive things about Duragloss with Aquawax so I put in an order for that today. My plan is to continue to use UWW for waterless washes and as a detailer and I’ll use the Duragloss for my rinseless washes. That will ensure that I’m always getting some sort of protection.

I’ve been using FK425 as a QD but it just leaves too many streaks on my 911’s Arena Red paint. The Gloss-It QD is too expensive for what it is and so is the Surf City Hot Rod QD that I’ve used in the past.

Fingers crossed on the DG as I’ve never used any of their products.

not sure if has uv protection but it does add gloss/slickness with a little protection from the aquawax. i dilute 10:1 as a qd/spray wax and it works really well...

Another viable option worth looking into, Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax. Mix it up 1:16 for a detail spray and 1:256 for a rinseless wash. Contains same patented UV protection found in Optimum Car Wax.
