That sucks to hear man. Hope things turn around soon for you.
The tire gel is similar to regular tire products except in gel form.
A tire coating is similar to a ceramic coating on paint in that it puts a coating on the tires to keep them dressed longer. A coating may last a few months whereas a normal tire dressing will usually only last a week or two if it rains. And a coating makes a car or tire easier to clean as well.
Tire dressings also come in solvent- or water-based form, with most solvents being silicone-based. Silicone-based dressings might last a little longer than a water-based but not necessarily and not nearly as long as a tire coating.

Re: Please esplain to me: tire gel vs tire coating?
I used TAC SYSTEMS tire coATING on several cars and thought it was worthwhile, but I had to use a tire applicator and put it on and be fairly careful. Now I’ve gotten so lazy that I’d rather use a $5 spray can of black magic SPRAY FOAM which I don’t even have to bend down for , and do them every 2 weeks or so , and they look great. So it all depends on what you’re looking for, I guess.
