    Bubbles after a repaint

    Hello All,

My wife had her rear bumper repainted in August after an accident, and today I noticed these little bubbles where they repainted. The body shop told me not to wax or seal the paint for 60 days, so I waited 94 days and I compounded, polished, and sealed the bumper with WGDG 3.0. Did I seal it too soon or is this something caused by the bodyshop? I have never seen this before today and I try to wash the car weekly. Is there something I can do to fix this issue or just take it back and have them fix it? Thank you for all of your help!!

    Re: Bubbles after a repaint

Is it the large bubble or the smaller clear one right above it?

It is the smaller 2 below the water bead. They are hard to catch on camera no matter how I pointed the flash light lol. Sorry.

Take it back to the body shop and see what they say.

Looks like bad prep from the shop that caused incorrect adhesion to the surface. It was not anything you did.

Thanks! I was worried I sealed it too soon after the repaint.

I will take it back to body shop tomorrow!
