there seems to be no reason to this, as I have some the died after several washes and others that last for months. I went back to MF towels and chenille for better longevity.
That's why I switched to Shmitt.
It will last 100-150 washes minimum.

Normally I just place mine in front of a fan on high with the cuff open to allow air inside. I've had my sheepskin for over a year with zero problems (different vendor).
Thanks to Meghan and Autogeek I've received the replacement Sheepskin mitt in quick time all the way down here to Australia.
For sure... AG will take care of you. On another note...
A lot of the Sheepskin used in mitts comes from Australia... doesn't it? One would think that you would be able to pick up the best mitts down there easier than us back here in the states.

It's strange I know but I've never been able to find a proper sheepskin mitt here in oz, plenty of synthetic and lambswool mitts but proper sheepskin is like hens teeth.
Just a small update. I've managed to find a good solution that dries the sheepskin washmitt much more quickly and conveniently. I've just bent a wire coat hanger into a shape that opens up the mitt from the inside to allow the inner skin to dry more quickly. Just hang it on the clothes via coat hanger hook, simple and effective.
