#1 pet peeve: Water dripping out of a piece of trim and onto the panel while I'm polishing.

Re: Biggest Pet-Peeves in Detailing?
My biggest problem is NO MATTER how many times I go over the ride I just finished detailing, I MISS a spot of removing the wax or sealant. It is 99% the LEFT REAR QUARTER Panel! I don't know why and I seem to miss that spot 99% of the time. I usually have my GF or friend go over the ride and inspect just in case I miss a spot....the LEFT REAR QUARTER panel is my ARCH ENEMY!....LOL

Lint. Drives me nuts. The more I wipe the more static and the more lint I see on the surface. And I use all kinds of good, lint free, towels. Yeah, sure, lint free my @$$.

When someone asks you for advice, then later when you find out what they went and did they clearly only listened to 3 words of what you told them.

I hate doing interiors, if I don't have help doing interiors, I won't touch it. I refuse to do a soccer Mom's SUV interior except for a quick vaccum.

Getting a 'friendly hint' from a friend/relative that they'd really like your help on their car, knowing it will go through the swirl-o-matic and be dried off with kitchen towels for the following year because they can't be bothered to keep it looking good.

Ugh. So much this! Spent 8 hours getting overspray off of a friends white car who’s office painted their building. It was terrible. Clay, compound, polish, lsp. The car left spotless. Hasn’t been washed since. Grrrr

1- Explaining to a customer and they don’t even try to understand
2- polishing to remove swirls and it’s ineffective until you grab compound and most aggressive pad
3- Vacuuming and the crap is wedged in the fiber
4- “This will only take 2 hrs tops” suddenly you’re 6hrs in
