Finish Kare 1000 is what I'm looking at in SoCal. I tried it once on part of a vehicle but lost track of how it did. Next summer I'll probably give it a bigger shot.

It has had a lot of positive comments on its longevity in hot weather areas in past threads.

I'm also in socal and have used fk1000 but wasn't the happiest with it. I think it's because I didn't let it cure long enough. I'm getting dg111 and I'll put it up against fk1000 on a buddies daily never washed driver and see how they far

I don't consider a "daily never washed driver"
a very good test-bed for any LSP.

    Re: Help picking a sealant

I like to use it as a worst case, and then sometimes do the same to my card which are washed regularly and compare the results and then when I speak to clients I can say, "in our area you are looking anywhere from x-xx amount of durability depending on how you maintain it"

McKee's 37 High Def Paint Sealant:
    http://www.autogeek.net/mckees-37-paint-sealant.html

Long durability and looks great. Apply to entire vehicle and let cure for as long as possible before removing. I let it sit in the garage overnight and then remove.

Griots Garage Liquid Gloss Poly Wax:
    http://www.autogeek.net/griots-garag...-poly-wax.html

Also long durability and great gloss. Same application method, but the Griots product will not stain trim and the Mckee's product is more prone to this.

Both products are excellent examples of the best products on the market for synthetic paint sealants.

I have hi def and I'm running it in a test now. I normally let it sit for an HR in the sun before removing

I've applied EX-P in bright sun (though not 100+ AZ sun) and it performed pretty well on that front, but durability wasn't very good.
