Rate my Swirls!!!
Hello,
My name is Eric. I live in the outer suburbs of Cincinnati Ohio. I'm about to start learning to do paint correction and would like the opinion of more knowledgeable parties about the condition of my paint. It's a 2011 Camry and it has a bunch of swirling. Would you consider my swirling light, medium or heavy.
Here are the pics.

My plan is Megs Ultimate compound, then ultimate polish, with a yet to be determined wax.
Look forward to your responses. Thank you.

Those are light to medium swirls and UC and UP should take care of it.

Re: Rate my Swirls!!!
I agree, those don't look too bad, except for that 1st photo.
You my need to do 2 passes with UC if the first pass doesn't cut too well.
Do you plan on using a DA, or by hand? (hope you say DA)
If you feel UC did it's job, then UP will cut the really fine small marks.

I agree those are light looking swirls. If I had to guess the person who took care of that car washed it with care.

I would even suggest trying just the Ultimate Polish on a polishing pad first. Guaranteed you will see a huge improvement, not perfect but good enough. Look up some of Mike's articles "test spots".
It will be easier to live with if you don't "perfect" the paint. If you do want perfect paint try just compounding and polishing the hood, roof, and deck lid. This will save you a ton of time.

Re: Rate my Swirls!!!
Since you're going with UC and UP, pick up some Meguiars Ultimate Liquid wax while you're out

Welcome dogMEAT. I'm also interested in whether you are tackling this by hand or machine. There's a HUGE difference.

Thank you everyone for your helpful replies. I ordered the PC and the 3" Griot's. I picked up a test panel at the junkyard today.
