CarPro Denim Orange Peel Removal Pad – 3 Inches 2 Pack

I have been checking out this pad for awhile now and I'm thinking about committing to buying it, can anyone tell me anything about it?

    •I don't use any orange-peel-removers,
no matter how they're formatted, on
    OEM factory paint.

-Just my way of paying homage to that
very thinly applied CC paint, and its ex-
    pected service life.

    •On the otherhand:
-orange peel removal from totally new
    paint jobs, and/or re-sprays---especially
those having an extra film layer, or two,
of CC---can often be viewed differently.

Re: CarPro Denim Orange Peel Removal Pad – 3 Inches 2 Pack

I used them this year as I had a few of my wife's car panels resprayed and got good results. I used the 5 1/4" size on my GG6. It was a budget respray from a guy I knew. I had him purposely shoot extra clear so I would have enough clear to level the orange peel I knew I would end up with it. It took a lot of work but it did level the orange peel. The one issue I ran into is that the pad loaded up quickly and would lose it's cutting power. It was challenging to clean the pad but other than that I was please with them.

I think there are two levels of pads. Get the one that is the most aggressive. Also, I would not recommend using these on OEM paint.
