Neophyte Question - Coatings, Microfiber and Pads
Are foam pads and MF towels used in the application, buffing and flattening of a coatings subject to any special cleaning after use? Can they be washed and cleaned the same way as when used with sealers, polishes, waxes, cleaners, etc.?

Re: Neophyte Question - Coatings, Microfiber and Pads
Good question. I have dedicated foam applicators for my coatings and never mix manufacturers. However, I use my plushest MF towels to level down high spots and simply wash them with all my other MF towels. That towel used to work a coating yesterday may be my final polish wipe off towel today. Haven't had any issues to date.
I understand from previous posts how others like to dedicate their MF towels as well. If I'm not mistaken, some even toss the MF towel after a coating touches it.
Again, gang, don't crucify me here...just my thoughts and experience!
