Pls. help I got the hologram and haze
Hi,
It was my first time using the machine to detail my car.
I got a Flex with LC and PO106FF.
My car does not have bad swirl, so that's why I use PO106FF.
But I got the problem after I used Flex to remove swirl.
I got Hazing and some of hologram and some of swirl still remain.
Pls. help to explain how to remove them completely with swirl.
Thank you.

Hey Bancha..
you mention using a LC pad..which of the pads (color)did you use?
your pad might have been too aggressive or you might not have worked the polish to its full potential..either way its a simple fix..
lets us know what the pad color and if you can post up a few pics..

Hi Joe.P
I used the orange pad with 2-3 big drop of PO106FF and working area is 2x2 ft. I did move side to side up and down for 3-4 time at level 5 slow move on the Flex.
Thank you for your helping.
After get your comment, I will fix it tomorrow.

Try bumping down to a polishing pad (LC white) working the polish until its fully broken down almost transparent..This should clean up the hazing/micro-marring..

with Work the polish until it turns almost clear looking. With 106FF the main goal is to finish out the paint, raise the gloss, and get it ready for wax. I would use nothing more aggressive than a white pad.(I usually use a blue pad) Leave most of your defect removal to heavier cut polishes, and the 106FF should remove whatever little defects are left.

Re: Pls. help I got the hologram and haze
Thanks guys.
But do you mean that if I want to remove swirl, I should use the SIP with the orange pad?
Can PO106FF with white pad remove light swirl?
And what is the proper amount of SIP and PO106FF to apply per 2x2 ft area?
If the amount of SIP or PO106FF is not enough, will it damage the paint?

Re: Pls. help I got the hologram and haze
106ff and a white pad with the Flex on speed 5 should easily remove light swirling. Also don't use so much product because that can be counterproductive. Just put a thin line of 106ff about 5" in length on the pad and you should have much better results. Don't use SIP and an orange pad unless you have to. If 106ff/white pad won't cut it then move to the orange pad and 106ff. If that doesn't work use SIP and white pad and if still no success move to SIP and orange pad. If it is light swirling then I really think the 106ff/white pad combo will work.

Re: Pls. help I got the hologram and haze
You should use sip to correct, not 106ff, that is why people are complaing about holograms after using menzerna. They are not being used correctly that is why menzerna has different products to do a certain job. 106ff is not made to be an aio, this why you are seeing so many threads about menzerna and holograms/paint swelling. You should stick with sip and an orange pad for correction and use your 106ff with the white pad, but if you have a green one that would produce even better results. If you need anymore help just pm me.

Re: Pls. help I got the hologram and haze
hi,
while u at it..go slow..don go fast as this would produce haziness.
Am using the orange pads for intermediate swirls and really do it slowly till thenpolish has broken down..
hope this helps

Re: Pls. help I got the hologram and haze
The haziness could also be from working the polish in too long. Menzerna is a very finiky product to work with. If the product dries out while your still polishing = hazing ... if you stop polishing before it has broken down = hazing ... if you use too aggressive of a pad = hazing.
