    Leaf Blower for car drying?

Are leaf blowers effective at drying off cars? and is one that creates 160mph, creating enough power to do the job?

    Thankyou!

Yeah they are, I have a little 16v 160kph. 160mph will be more than enough = 257kph you dont want to blow your car over.... =)

i had both the weedeater and craftsman 150-160 mph electric leaf blower and they'll do the job (light too) just fine as long as you have a good coat of wax/sealant/coating on the vehicle water will fly off. i wouldn't worry about getting every last drop but just the majority and also in the seams/cracks (where water hides) and follow up with a microfiber towel and qd/spray wax to get the remaining droplets. you should be able to find one at walmart for around $30 or check CL...

Yes. They work fine. I use it all the time. Mainly to ensure I get the gallons of water out of all the joints and what not. Having two black vehicles, I can't stand water seeping out after I simply towel dry.

I have the Ridgid 4 gal shop vac with detachable blower. Great 2 in 1 product. Blower works fine for drying the vehicle (leaves and trimmings also).

Ryobi now makes a lithium battery one for about $110 that adds no-cord convenience, very helpful. The Autogeek blower-dryer is also very good.
