I haven't tried Menzerna 400 yet but it sounds pretty impressive. Will definitely be purchasing some soon though...
A couple of key points in useing compounds:
Remember they are products for correcting and not for protecting paint. So it really serves no purpose in allowing it to flash on the car after polishing each panel.
Too much compound on your pad can also make it difficult to remove, especially if left to dry.
Plus immediate removal of the compound let's you know how effective your being as paint, level and type of degradation can vary from panel to panel.
