Auto Geek ordering not honoring one of its $25 Savings Note
Got the $25 Savings Note with my last Auto Geek order. Good through July 31st, it says. Also says "use it on sale items, custom items, polishers - it's your money."
Only caveat is that I have to spend $150.
So I order a DA for $149 and a red 6.5 LC pad for LSP bringing total to about $162.
Yet when I get ready to order, it only gives me a $12.99 discount and notes that I have a "unused credit of $12.99" that cannot be used on other orders."
BTW, the free shipping ends in two hours, so if I miss out on that waiting for a reply from AG, I'm gonna be peeved.

Chill the emotions. Life's short. One, they'll make it good next business day just call. I've changed orders and adjusted sales plenty. CS is good. Two, AG has sales pretty much every weekend and guarantee July 4 is gonna be awesome. So chill, have patience and wait it out.
Back to the full-time grind.

I agree. Just call when they are open and I guarantee they will take care of you and offer any deals you would have gotten.

AG will make it right. I have first-hand knowledge with this.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Will do. It's all good. Got a coat of Wolfgang DGS on my son's Honda this afternoon. Not really thrilled with the Porter on 4. Barely rotated and I was barely touching it. Even tried Mike P's one-hand method. I think 5 on the DA was way too much. Hence the purchase of a GG DA. Will use the Porter on 5 or 6 for cutting and polishing and the GG for LSP. At least that's my plan. What do you think?
(I really want the Flex but $$$$)

What kind of pad did you use? I apply WGDGPS 3.0 with my PC and a black LC Thin Pro pad on speed 3.5. 4 tops. No problem with stalling. I use Mike's one handed method.

Hummm...As I understand---Thicker pads can "bog" or stall a DA.
Just turn dial up till you overcome the stalling and that'll be the speed setting you need to use to do the job.

I used a thin 5.5 LC Red. There was some rotation at 4 but not a lot. It had no problem at 5.

other way around, use the GG6 for cutting and polishing and the PC for for LSP though the GG6 can do that as well or convert the PC to a smaller pad setup...
