Poll: Do you wash after claying?

I have starting using the nano skin so i guess the reason for the second wash would be to remove any contaminants released from the claying that remain on the car?

The detail spray or other lubricity agent would also be in the car to some degree, but that would be taken care of by the polishing.

What is your opinion on the wash after claying?

    Thanks.

After I use nanoskin anything with Glide yes I wash again quickly before the polishing stage.

I use the Nanoskin Wash Towel for my claying. It solves the problem of washing the car after a clay. It savesa huge amount of time and you do not need any lube. The soap suds and water are the lube.

I keep my vehicles waxed, sealed or coated. The clear stays smooth therefore I have no need to use Nanoskin

    In ideal situations:
Wash the vehicle in cool weather in complete shade.
Leave vehicle wet, rinsing as needed to keep it wet.
Use your choice of claylube and clay media.
Rinse vehicle once more after every panel has been clayed and then towel dry.
Proceed straight to lsp. [or compounding/polishing if that's what the plan is]

I have great results with those steps 95% of the time. [5% chance the clay/clay towel actually marrs the paint, but IME that's pretty rare]

Same here but I will still use the nano skin stuff in tandem with a traditional clay bar. I love their products and in most cases work far better than clay. I use mostly the fine grade which doesn't even mark up black paint.

I have the medium sponge and mild pad plus shock and glide. If I choose to clay, iron removal first, clay wash....lots of suds

Washing after claying seems like it would be equal to brushing after flossing. Just thinking out loud...

After using an iron remover, for me a wash is essential
