    Gyeon rim application?

I'm going to be tackling coating my new wheels before they make it on my car this weekend. I just finished up coating my paint a couple weeks ago and the directions for the Rim seems a bit different. I will be wiping down the wheels with Prep before application. According to the directions it says to apply and then wait 2-5 minutes and wipe away. Can this product be layered like Mohs or is only one application necessary? Also is states to not drive the car for 24hours after application which I am fine with. Can the car be washed after the 24 hour time period has passed or do you have to wait like Mohs states to do?

    Thanks

    Re: Gyeon rim application?

Good stuff; did two coats on wheel faces and barrels...waited about an hour between coats. Kept dry for 24hrs, did not use any kinda cleaner (car wash) for a week just to be sure. Can hit 'em with a bit of Gyeon Cure and hour or two after last coat to give 'em a little protection against water spotting and stuff until full curing is complete.. Intricate wheels I did last year were a bit of a pain, last wheel coating I did a few weeks ago I cut a dense, round foam applicator into quarters, applied with that. Much easier than folding up a little microsuede cloth or using foam tipped 'detailing sticks'. The denser the applicator, the more product stays on surface as opposed to soaking in.
