    New(to me) Truck! New Detail.

The truck has not been driven much and garage kept, but it doesn't look like it has had any shine laid on it lately. I am going to spend some time on this one next weekend. I wanted to share the process I plan to use. I am open to suggestions for I am still learning.

    1. Meguiars Deep Crystal Wash/Dry
    2. Mothers pre-wax cleaner(I don't really like this. It's to much effort to remove. I plan to go with clay when the bottle is gone.)
    3. Meguiars #7
    4. Meguiars Tech Wax(sealant)
    5. High Quality Wax(Usually I stay with a product when I find one that I like, I am searching for a new wax to use any suggestions, sample or both?)
    6. DP Final Gloss to maintain.(Love this stuff!)

The interior may be the next day. I would like to try the Surf City Dash Away. I am not a fan of how every piece of dust and lint sticks to Armor All. I am also going to try some Scotch Guard spray.

You did not say what color the truck is. I think color has alot to do with what products to use .IMO

Which wax is difficult. So many options. From my experience, considering that blue color, I'd recommend two excellent options: DP Max Wax ($29.99) or Poorboy's World Natty's Blue ($17.99). You can't go wrong with either of these.

If you want to up the cost then consider Pinnacle Souverän Paste Wax or Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax

One problem I see is Megs #7 which is a glaze (fillers and oils) then a sealant on top of that. You may end up with some bonding issues with that process. Most sealant need an oil free surface to bond too, which can't happen if you just laid down a glaze. SO either Megs #7 then wax or skip #7 and NXT wait 12-24hrs then wax.

Will going over the sealant with the #7 reduce the protection factor of the sealant? If not I will seal,#7, and then nuba.
