Re: Best bang for buck wax on the market?
As I mentioned earlier, my opinion is high on Collinite waxes. Value, ease and effectiveness of uses and lastly, durability. Now, a well thought out new delivery method? As the comrades say... "Holy Snitzkie".
I LOVE this place!

if you want paste wax, collinite 845 or Jescar Powerlock+ other options Gtechniq C2v3 or Opti Seal...last 2 are faster applications...

It's contending with the overspray
that's the root cause of my not being

are aerosol-based Sprays.

you have to spray the fast finish into a microfiber first then spread it. Thats in the directions. no overspray

No thank you.
I won't be using fast finish.

I used to do my vehicles with #845 but now I use UFF.
The UFF is much easier and faster to apply than the #845.
And The UFF also lasts much longer than the #845.
I also believe the UFF attracts less dust than #845. I have not gone back to the Collinite since.
Just spray the UFF (aerosol) onto a mf towel or applicator and wipe the vehicle down. use a clean towel and do a quick buff to bring it to a gloss. Let it cure for a bit, and you're good to go.
I can do my full size crew-cab truck in about 15 minutes.
UFF lasts longer than Collinite 845? No way. It may be easier to use, (and that's debatable) but it definitely doesn't last as long.

Wow, I didn't think this was going to get as much love as it did haha. I appreciate the great feedback! I have been using the chemical guys butter wet wax, but it lasts about two dang weeks honestly. I used to top it with H20 guard and gloss from Adams. I haven't clayed my car in over a year and I want to start from scratch with a good durable wax. I understand many are straying away from the waxes and starting to use nano and glass coatings but I am completely unfamiliar to that sector of the market. It seems like Collinite 845 has been getting a lot of love.

Not sure what a glass or nano coating is, but yeah -- people are doing 'ceramic' coatings.
